This is an advanced class developed by the Federation of Fire Chaplains to equip chaplains with the skills and sensitivity required to deliver death notifications with professionalism, care and compassion. Chaplains will explore procedures, emotional impact, and appropriate responses during difficult duty, ensuring they are fully prepared to support families and agencies alike.

Day 2 -- Dealing with Difficult Deaths (8 Hours) December 12, 2025

This Class explores: Coping with Disaster, Talking to Kids, Coping after a Homicide, Coping after a Suicide, Infant/Child death, Coping with Traumatic loss and grief.
