    Instructors

    Gary White is currently serving as the Region Two Chaplain for the Maryland Fire Chiefs Association and as the Chaplain for the New Market District Volunteer Fire Rescue Department. He received his BS from Liberty University in Religion, an Advance Diploma in Biblical Counseling from Light University and holds his Advanced Fire Chaplain Certificate with the Federation of Fire Chaplains. He is currently a Board Certified Biblical Counselor with the International Board of Christian Counselors and a Board Certified Response Chaplain by the Board of Christian Crisis and Trauma Response.

    Charles “Chuck” Ward has been in Fire/EMS for 30 plus years and has been a Nationally Registered Paramedic for 25 years. He has been serving as Chaplain for the Powellville VFC since 2015. He also serves as Chaplain for the Wicomico County Vol. Firefighters Association. In addition to he is a Chaplain with the Maryland State Firefighters Association and is the Deputy Chaplain for Region 8 for the Maryland Fire Chiefs Association. He holds his Advanced Fire Chaplain Certificate with the Federation of Fire Chaplains. He is also a Licensed Minister, has a Bachelor of Ministry Degree, and is currently working on his Master of Ministry Degree.
